BonjourPetite information complémentaire, quand je lance Mageia9 en mode normal dans un premier temps j'ai une fenêtre avec deux lignes qui commence par:
Chargement du disque etc.....
ensuite un écran vide, sombre mais avec un peu de luminosité
Puis passage à un écran noir, sans la moindre trace de luminosité, totalement éteint.
Je ne sais pas ce que cela implique dans le processus de démarrage.
J'ai activé clavier et lecteur dans l'application LightDM GTK+Greeter sans résultat.

Je suis perdu entre démarrage normal et recovery.
Le status du lightdm s' affiche lors d' un démarrage normal ou en recovery ?

On peut donc supposer que grub essaye de lancer quelque chose mais qu' il ne charge rien ( du coup l' écran est sombre car en attente, mais qu'ensuite une veille se met en route "écran éteint".
S' agissant d' un portable, si on branche un écran externe, se passe t' il quelque chose ?

J'ai lancé la commande # systemctl status lightdm en recovery , la mode normal est totalement inaccessible.
J'avais déjà tenté le coup de l'écran externe, j'ai d'abord contrôlé qu'il est opérationnel en recovery, aucune réaction de ce dernier, aucun affichage.

Ici si le problème est lié au pilote graphique uefi et gpt n' ont aucune influence.
En règle générale, uefi et gpt vont de paire. Si le disque à un partitionnement en mbr, pas sur que l' uefi soit possible.
Si le mode normal est innacessible c' est sur lui qu' il faut jouer avec les options de grub.
Il me semble avoir lu précédement que le passage de nomodeset permettait d' aller plus loin dans le démarrage en mode normal. Il peut donc être intéressant de rajouter ce paramètre pour voir ce que cela implique sur le démarrage des autres processus. Si l' on arrive à au minimum une ligne de commande en mode normal, on peut ensuite essayer de régler ce qui bloque le démarrage de l' interface graphique.

J'ai inséré un "nomodeset" après splash quiet, à partir du CCM 'Configurer le démarrage du système".
Après l'écran avec le chaudron bouillonnant , je retrouve
[Failed] Failed to start lightdm.service.

les tentatives de commande startx etc.. sont inopérantes.
Par contre la combinaison de touches magiques fonctionne.

Donc ici du coup, on peut regarder ce que dit le fichier de log de xorg.
cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log pour voir pourquoi le serveur ne veut pas se lancer.

Ici Xorg essaye d' utiliser le pilote modesettings mais n' y arrive pas ( et pour cause le nomodeset doit désactiver cette possibilité).
Il faudrait essayer de renommer le ficheir /etc/X11/xorg.conf ( mv /etc/X11/xorg.conf /etc/X11/xorg.conf.backup) puis ressayer de redémarrer le pc ou relancer la commande startx.

J'ai fait la modif, le pc a démarré de façon moins rapide qu'en recovery et je trouve que la qualité d'affichage est moins bonne qu'en recovery.

Suite à la modification le pc démarre en mode normal ?
Si oui, il faudrait regarder ce que dit le journal système et le fichier de log de Xorg. Les deux pourront peut être expliquer la lenteur de démarrage.

J'ai voulu changer la résolution et ça ne démarre plus, j'a redémarré en mode recovery qui lui affiche:
1366x768* et 60,00Hz
contre
1024x768 et 76Hz en mode normal que j'ai voulu changer au pif en , 1152x??? pour trouver un meilleur rendu.
