Pas moyen de connecter en wifi cette clé sous mageia 2 ni sous mageia 1 d'ailleurs
Clé reconnue dans iwconfig et ifconfig, (ralink), j'ai installe "kernel-firmware-nonfree", et tout ce qui avait "ralink"
et lorsque je configure le wifi .... "non listé editer manuellement" et à la fin "des problèmes se sont produits ..."
J'ai parcouru plein d forums, et je pense qu'il me manque le driver, qui doit etre un windows, donc, jai cherché le .inf (pour ndiswrapper), mais ne l'ai pas trouvé, j'ai donc emulé windows(virtualbox) et installé le driver , et je ne trouve nulle part sur mon disque virtuel le fameux .inf????????????????????
si vous avez une petite idée!!!!!

Il faudrait savoir quel est le modele exact de ta carte.
Dans le CCM tu as le paquet Ralink : "This package contains all the Ralink wireless firmware files previously shipped in separate rt61-, rt2860-, rt2870-, rt3090-, rt73-, and kernel-firmware-extra/nonfree packages."
Vois si cela correspond à ta carte ou pas.
Pour Windows et bien il nous faut savoir sous quel Win tu es ? XP, Vista, Seven

Merci Yopman, mais ce n'est pas une carte, mais une clé usb wifi : hercules HWGUSB2-54-V2
je la vois dans la configuration réseau comme "Ralink 802.11G bg WLAN" et lorsque je veux configurer, avec la clé WPA etc etc, il me dit qu'il y a un problème de connexion
et pour Windows, je suis en virtualbox avec WINXP
Ne peut-on passer que des .inf en paramètre à ndiswrapper ??

J'avais donc installé NDISWRAPPER
je suis allé sur cette page du site: http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/ndiswrapper/index.php?title=Category:USB
j'ai telechargé : http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/ndiswrapper/index.php?title=Hercules_Wireless_G_USB2
et après décompactage et extraction, j'ai appliqué ndiswrapper sur le .inf récupéré, et configuration de la connexion wifi par le CCM et et et .....BINGO!!!!
depuis ça marche. je recommande ce site pour tous les linuxiens qui doivent utiliser ndiswrapper
Voilà Super facile à faire après avoir déniché le .inf !

Une idée??
Précision :
j'ai le même dmesg avec ou sans le pilote et aussi, le pilote à l'installation graphique avec ndiswrapper me signale qu'il n'y a pas de matériel succeptible de l'utiliser
Comme cela a fonctionné en Mageia1, est-il possible que la partie réseau ait été modifié sous mageia 2 ?
Je précise que même si je veux activer un réseau ouvert "SFR WIFI public" : "Echec de connexion ..."

Rajout de mes tests :
Apres avoir installé le driver .inf de chez sourceforge, et dans les 2 Mageia, lorsque je configure une connexion WIFI via le CCM, il me répond au final une erreur en notant qu'il ne trouve pas de périphérique utilisant ce pilote!!
et ensuite, la connexion s'établit et est OK sur Mageia1 et est KO sur Magéia2 Bizarre bizarre que la compatibilité verticale ne marche pas, je pense plutôt à un paramètre ou quelque-chose comme cela qui me bloque ??
des lumières ?????

Pas d'idée de recherche pourquoi ça marche en Mageia1 et pas en Mageia2 ???

Est ce que dans tes logs, tu ne trouverais pas une info interessante ? C'est juste une piste car je ne suis pas spécialiste.
Sois dans /var/log ou par le CCM/système/visionner les journaux.
débusqueur de bugs et chercheur en améliorations

je suis en virtualbox avec mageia2
dans les 2 cas, j'ai installé le driver hwgusb de sourceforge
je vois bien que ça marche pas, dans les messages, mais je ne vois pas le Pourquoi
Ca me prend le chou

Donc, sous mageia 2 je suis en : kernel 3.3.6-desktop586-2.mga2 en virtualbox
et
en Mageia1 : kernel 2.6.38.8-desktop586-10.mga
je voudrais bien tester comme tu me le dis, mais je n'ai pas trouvé de mageia2 avec le kernel 2.6 au téléchargement, et c'est un peu lourd de devoir recompiler etc etc
si tu as une adresse pour telecharger, dis le moi, mais apparemment, le kern,el de mageia2 démarre au 3.3 quelquechose!!!!!
Mais il est vrai que sur kernel 2.6.38.8 ça marche et pas sur le 3.3.6
Mais celà vient-il seulement du kernel ???

et toi, merci pour tes interventions et ATTENTION, même avec un parasol les UV sont à prendre au sérieux et il faut hydrater, surtout depuis l'intérieur et pour cela l'EPO (eau pastis olives) est FORTEMENT conseillé
