Cela se produit avec un clique gauche enfoncé.

Non pas d'idée.
Surtout, je ne comprends pas al précision sur le clic gauche. Ceci doit dépendre de là où est le curseur au moment du clic, mais tu n'en dis rien.

Je suis sous Mageai8 Plasma, à jour des paquets, deux écrans.

Le clic gauche, comme pour déplacer un onglet (firefox), déplacer un mél dans l’arborescence de Thunderbird, déplacer une sélection vers la zone de téléchargements (Filezilla). Ces actions impliquent un clique gauche puis déplacement de la sourie tout en restant appuyé sur le bouton gauche de la sourie.

Une idée sur le problème ?

le clic gauche serais a hs ???

peut être changer de souris ?

On peut remarquer que les 3 exemples que tu exposes sont en Gtk.

Une première expérimentation : avec d'autres appli en Gtk ? (Geany, gedit, Inkscape...)
Une deuxième : avec des appli Qt ? kwrite, Kate...
Une troisième : dans un autre bureau ? XFCE, Gnome...
