resolution dans CCM n'est pas la même que dans l'environnement bureau [Réglé]

j'ai acheté une carte graphique ATI Radeon hd 5670 pour pouvoir enfin revenir sur Mageia 8 ( ma carte nvidia intégré dans la carte mère n'étant plus soutenue pour le kernel 5.00) À l'installation la configuration de l'écran et de la carte s'est bien passé et dans le ccm la résolution est de 1280 x 1024. mais si j'ouvre la configuration de l'affichage de Plasma ou de Mate je ne peux choisir que 1024 x 768 et l'écran est inconnu.
Dans Plasma ça donne un affichage de 1024 x 768 cohérent et avec Mate ça donne une mélange de 1280 x 1024 et de 1024 x 768 pour le titre des fenêtres , firefox sauf les menus, très bizard !!!
le fichier xorg.conf indique bien la bonne carte graphique et la résolution pour l'écran acer AL 1716 de 1280x1024.
Quelqu'un a une idée pour remédier à ça ?

Un affichage en 1024x768 pourrait peut être indiquer qu' un pilote autre que celui de la carte AMD est utilisé.
Pour voir ce qui pourrait bloquer, je pense qu' il faudrait voir ce qui est indiqué par le fichier de log de Xorg ( cat /etc/Xorg.0.log depuis une console) ce qui permettrait de savoir ce qui est configuré par Xorg au moment de son lancement.
Si l'écran est inconnu, c' est peut être parce que le informations EDID relatives à celui ci ne sont pas récupérées correctement ( dont les résolution supportées).
Il faudrait essayer d' installer xrandr et voir ce que donne la commande xrandr --prop

S' agissant d' un fichier de log il est plus dans /var/log/
La commande devient donc cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log

Je suppose que la configuration de l'affichage dans le CCM est enregistré dans la partie racine / qui est formaté à l'installation. ces information doivent aller dans un fichier caché de configuration de la partie /home qui elle n'est jamais formaté et qui a plusieurs installation de différents distributions et une autre carte graphique comme bagage. Soit cette information ne passe pas, soit elle est en conflit avec d'autres plus anciennes.
Est-ce quelqu'un connait le fichier caché de configuration d'affichage de l'environnement bureau qui faudrait peut-être modifier ?????

Je n'ai jamais rencontré ce message d' erreur de Xorg.
Visiblement d' après le fichier de log, il ne semble qu'il n' y ait que la résolution 1024x768 qui soit retournée (ou utilisée par défaut ?).
Mais pour l' instant je ne vois pas ce qui cloche.

Pour l'instant je me suis dépanné en ajoutant la resolution 1280x1024 dans xrandr en suivant les instruction de l'article dans :https://omacronides.com/articles/resolution-ecran/
j'ai donc crée le fichier /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/00-system-setup-monitor.conf avec comme texte :

et ça marche. Au redémarrage j'ai la bonne résolution un écran net et jusque là stable.

Quand j'ai installé Mageia 8 j'ai l'impression que le fichier etc/X11/xorg.conf a été crée puisqu'il contient les information exact de la carte graphique et de l'écran qui a comme nom :

Dans xrandr l'écran se nomme VGA-0 et le message d'erreur au démarrage parle de VGA-1
peut-être si je fait une entrée dans etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/00-system-setup-monitor.conf avec comme nom du moniteur VGA-1 ou de monitor1 ça enlève ce message d'erreur ?

J'ai regardé quel été le réglage propre de l'écran Acer et je me suis rendu compte que le taux de rafraîchissement été de 70 Hz au lieu de 73 Hz configuré sur l'ordinateur. En passant de 70 à 73 Hz le message :
