en lançant gscan2pdf en mode graphique j'ai le message suivant
si je clique sur recherche de périphérique à nouveau
j'ai ça :
Il faut que j'éteigne le scanner et que je le rallume puis relancer le programme pour que cela fonctionne.

tu as essayé de detruire gscan2pdfrc (dans .config) OU PLUTOT DE LE RENOMMER EN gscan2pdfrc_rescue (par exemple) * pour le cas ou... on ne sais jamais...

je me suis trompé d'image. Désolé
mais ce matin après un redemarrage complet ce n'est pas mieux. mon scanner n'est pas détecté. Sauf si je l'éteint et je le rallume.

Mon scanner est branché en usb. Il n'est jamais éteint. Gscan2pdf ne fonctionne plus au lancement. Il faut fermer gscan2pdf et eteindre/rallumer le scanner. Avec les versions précedentes de Mageia, je n'avais pas ce souci

Perso, moi, pour speed le truc, je scanne avec le traitement de texte, est je l'exporte en pdf....wala wala, (si ca peu servir...)

Bonjour le problème n'est donc pas le pilote du scanner, mais son appellation, au moins par gscan2pdf.
II existe un logiciel similaire (plus simple). Il s'agit de simple-scan, que tu peux tester pour voir si c'est mieux ou si tu as le même problème.

Impossible de numériser au démarrage par simple-scan : aucun périphérique de numérisation n'a été détecté. Et pourtant le scanner est bien allumé.
Si j'éteins mon scanner et que je le rallume, le scanner est détecté après avoir relancé simple-scan.

A mon sens, ceci vient d'une fonction d'économie d'énergie du scanner. Il doit se mettre en veille et ne plus répondre sur l'interface USB.
