J'ai eu le malheur changer de version (5) et de basculer de i586 en x86_64 hier ...
Je ne vois pas dans les dépôts vlc-plugin-common x86_64 tainted.
Il existe pour i586 en tainted
Notamment car d'autres applications multimédias ne fonctionnent plus correctement au passage de la 5 en x86_64 (kdenlive certaine vidéo)
Y a t-il une explication à cela?
Auquel cas je reviens en i586

Il n'est disponible que pour l'arch i586.

Il est toutefois installé sur ma machine depuis les dépôts Tainted sans que VLC me cause de soucis.

c'est pareil avec ffmpeg; pas dans les dépôts il est utile pour kdenlive.
Faut passer par avidemux pour réencoder au minimum l'audio avant de travailler avec kdenlive.
Tout compte fait je vais retourner en i586 parce que pour le multimedia on perd plus de temps à bricoler avant de travailler que les micro-secondes gagnées avec x86_64.

ffmpeg est aussi disponible pour les arch x86_64 cf. http://madb.mageia.org/package/show/arch/x86_64/application/0/name/ffmpeg
Il vaut peut-être mieux rester en i586 si tu as un processeur Pentium 2, sinon passe en x86_64, prends une après midi pour configurer et faire tes recherches puis ça roulera tout seul.

Si tes sources sont correctement configurées, chaque fois qu'un paquet n'est pas disponible en x86_64, la version i586 est installée. Il n'y a rien à bricoler, c'est totalement transparent.

Je ne comprend pas : si je tape ffmpeg dans le centre de controle de Mageia ( version 5)
ffmpeg apparait bien en 64 bits et Tainted ( certe, installé)
voir aussi le dépôt :

Je pense que les "tainted" sont mal cochés, il faut vérifier que la ligne release est bien active- ne pas confondre avec Release Debug..

erreur de débutantJ'ai contrôlé par acquis de conscience si je ne m'étais pas trompé dans la configuration des sources logiciels.
christian_fisch a raison j'ai coché tainted debug au lieu de release.
Tout rentre dans l'ordre
