Redémarrage immédiat après mise en veille [Réglé]

La mise en veille (ram) ne fonctionne plus, ou plutôt le PC rédémarre tout de suite sans que l'on appuie où que ce soit.
Merci si quelqu'un a une idée (paramètres Mageia, Bios ???)

menu "Quitter / Système / mettre en veille"
Le choix "hiberner" se comporte de la même manière (redémarrage immédiat)

De ce que j'ai pu voir, les problèmes de mise en veille et d'hibernation viennent surtout de soucis au niveau du noyau ou des pilotes de cartes graphiques.
J'aurais aimé utiliser le pilote proprio Nvidia à la place du pilote "nouveau", mais il ne fonctionne pas correctement sous Mageia2.
je vais essayer de prendre un noyau plus ancien......

J'ai testé la veille avec le pilote proprétaire Nvidia, le problème subsiste !
Il me reste à faire l'essai avec le noyau précédent (kernel-desktop586-3.3.6-2.mga2 ) mais je l'avais désinstallé (oui, trop tôt !)
Je viens de le ré-installer, mais comment faire pour que grub me le propose dans le menu ??

Est-ce qu'il faut aussi installer les kernel "latest" correspondants ( kernel-desktop-latest et kernel-desktop-devel-latest ) ?
J'hésite à faire cette installation par mise à jour (mageiaupdate) , car le système m'en propose un longue liste et je ne suis pas sûr que si je décoche ceux dont je ne veux pas, mes choix soient respectés.....

Je ne sais pas par quel mécanisme les entrées dans Grub sont ajoutées avec un nouveau noyau.
Non, il n'est pas utile d'installer toutes les mises à jour.
Il me semble que le "latest" renvoie à un paquetage spécifique. Pourquoi pas.

Je tombe sur ce post parce que je suis confronté au même problème (en fait, depuis 6 ans que j'utilise diverses versions de linux, je n'avais jamais pu utiliser de mise en veille).
La solution préconisée fonctionne à merveille.
