Specially created for TV with its well-designed and easy-to-use interface, you can now navigate all your media and content on your TV screen, with clicks!
For details on these and even more features of myiHome, please visit the myiHome web site at <www.syabas.com>.
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Version Info >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Version: myiHomeLinux-v5.2.0
Release: June 2009.
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Instruction >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
You need Java 1.5 or 1.6 to run it (run "java -version" to find out what's installed on your system).
It has been tested successfully with version 1.6.0_14. Java 1.4 will not work.
The first time you run ./startserver.sh it will create ~/Library/myiHome/preference.xml and some other directories and files.
Add keys to preference.xml like this:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<config>
<key name="Theme" value="deepblue"/>
<key name="VideoPath" value="/home/user/tv"/>
<key name="AudioPath" value="/home/user/mp3"/>
<key name="PhotoPath" value="/home/user/photos"/>
</config>
Then run startserver.sh again and it should work, you should see the server appear in Media Sources on your NMT.
================================================
Yet Another Moviejukebox plugin (JRE 6 Required)
================================================
1)Download the Yet Another Moviejukebox plugin at http://www.networkedmediatank.com/download/moviejukebox.php and install it as guided on the web site.
2)Configure the user.properties like this:
Skin=themeName
(Example: default)
FolderPath=mediaFolderPath1;mediaFolderPath2;
(Example: /movie/;/movie2/
3)After myiHome started, run startmoviejukebox.sh to start the plugin. Wait until the process end. Then you will see a plugin shortcut on your NMT. Any updates on user.properties would need to re-run startmoviejukebox.sh to take effect.
4)When necessary, you may delete the generated movie data by running cleanmoviejukebox.sh. After clean up, you will not able see the plugin shortcut on your NMT.
