Problème Imprimante Dell

je viens d'installer Mageia sur mon PC et j'ai un problème avec mon imprimante Dell MFP 1815dn. (Avant j'utilisait Ubuntu 11.10 et je n'avait aucun problème de configuration):
l'imprimante est connectée à un port USB et lorsque j'utilise le logiciel d'installation Dell il semble la retrouver sans problème sur USB/mfp4.... toutefois la page d'impression ne se fait pas et l'imprimante affiche le message suivant:
USB CtrlEP.c 73 Rip Internal Error
When i try to cinfugure through the configuration center, it detects a printer on the parallel port....
Is there a solution to this issue...?

Il me semble qu'à l'origine ce pilote est celui de Samsung qui semble etre compatible Dell.
Peut -être faut-il changer quelque chose dans le scripte install.sh?

Juste pour interrompre ton monologue. Car je ne pense pas pouvoir beaucoup t'aider.
Le "Failed to set configuration" me fait penser que l'imprimante est vue, mais pas reconnue, au sens où le système ne lui associe pas le module qui convient pour communiquer avec elle.

1 - J'ai vraiment besoin de mon imprimante-scanner... sinon il faudra que je retourne sur Ubuntu
2- j'ai vraiment pas envie de retourner sur Ubuntu...
Ce qui m’étonne c'est que le centre de contrôle me trouve une imprimante sur LPT1... tout cela me laisse rêveur.

Tu vas dans administration > Add printer, si l'imprimante est allumée et connectée, elle doit être détectée ; puis tu suis la procédure.

toutefois il semble que CUPS ne détecte pas mon imprimante sur le port USB... il détecte une imprimante sur LPT1.
Je suis aussi connécté à un photocopieur XErox WorkCentre7120 via la prise Ethernet (au travers d'une FreeBox), c'est peut être celle la qui est détectée....
N'y a t il pas un problème possible au niveau de cupsd.conf? ou un problème de droits d'accès dans les fichiers de configuration, bien que je fasse toutes les manips en root.
