Perte de connexion réseau filaire avec Mandriva 2010.2 sur EeePC 1001 PXD

Je viens d'installer Mandriva 2010.2 sur un Eeepc Asus 1001 PXD.
Tout se déroule bien jusqu’à la fin de l'installation.
Le souci vient du réseau filaire qui se connecte bien en début de session, mais au bout de quelques minutes il se désactive.
Il fait redémarrer complètement le pc et le problème recommence.
Le WIFI quant à lui ne fonctionne pas car la carte n'est pas reconnue malgré les pilotes Windows mais le plus gênant c'est tout de même le réseau filaire
Quelqu'un a-t-il rencontré ce problème, ou est-ce tout simplement mon eeepc qui est défectueux ?
Avez vous installé Mageia sur ce type d' EeePC ?

Si je ne fais que naviguer, la connexion reste plus longtemps avant de couper.
Peut-être coupe -t-il après une certaine quantité de données ...
Je cherche des pistes et si je trouve je vous informe.

Personnellement je lancerai la commande :
ping www.google.fr
puis tu fais la combinaison de touche CTRL+d pour interrompre 'ping' au bout d'une dizaine de seconde
pour regarder ce que ca donne (colle nous le résultat), ainsi que la commande :
dmesg
qui s'obtient elle aussi en console.

Le Processeur Atom455 ne serait-il pas 64 bit alors que j'ai installé une distribution 32 bit !!
