Je voudrais installer Mga en écrasant Windows sur un ordinateur Asus.
Je suis parti du Live sur usb pour voir si ça démarre. Mais en fait non... Je ne sais pas si c'est un problème de boot ou de clef usb... (je l'ai faite avec Rufus)
Dans le boot, j'ai désactivé le sécure boot, le fast boot et quant à "launch csm", j'ai essayé avec et sans. Je n'ai pas bien compris son rapport à Legacy.

Je ne sais pas si le problème vient de la clef ou du boot... J'ai le même comportement si je demande l'installation directement.

Plutôt que d'essayer de démarrer en legacy, je vais réessayer en déclarant ma clef en UEFI (non CSM) sur Rufus.
Je viens de voir que l'option existe.
EDIT : les erreurs sont toujours là... Mais le Live s'est chargé...

Normalement, avec Rufus, tu n'as pas à choisir entre UEFI/Legacy. Tu dois prendre l'option d'écrire une image ISO.
L'ACPI est un problème entre le BIOS et le noyau. Ce n'est pas quelque chose que tu peux régler, sinon avec une éventuelle mise à jour du BIOS.
Quel est la carte graphique ?
A la fin du démarrage, tu peux faire Ctrl-Alt-F3 déclarer l'utilisateur root et explorer s'il existe un fichier /var/log/Xorg.0.log et voir son contenu avec la commande less.
C'est Plasma/Gnome ou XFCE ?

Par le live s' est chargé, il faut comprendre qu' il a été possible accéder à un bureau ?
Si oui, cela voudrait dire que ce n' est pas forcément un problème de carte graphique (ou alors intermittent).
C' est un pc fixe (donc pas un pc avec double carte Intel/Nvidia ) ?

Finalement, j'ai réussi à installer Mageia. En Kde.
La solution a été de ne pas passer par les pilotes non libres. Je ne vois pas bien le rapport...
Les erreurs restent indiquées au démarrage, plus quelque chose que j'ai mal lu concernant la communication avec"nouveau"...
Je ne sais pas trop quelle est la carte graphique. C'est un vieil Asus. Je vais essayer de chercher tout à l'heure.
En désactivant l'acpi, rien ne change... Mais j'ai aussi des problèmes de connexion au démarrage. Je n'arrive pas activer la connexion automatique en passant par le ccm et l'écran de connexion est assez moche. Ce n'est pas celui que j'ai chez moi. Je me dis donc que les modifications que je passe à Grub2 via le CCM ne s'enregistrent peut-être pas... y compris la désactivation de l'acpi...

Plasma et le pilote nouveau ont quelque fois des incompatibilités, l' affichage bizarre est peut être du à ça ?

Excuse-moi, comme il y avait beaucoup d'agitation autour de moi, j'ai mis un certain temps à rédiger mon message et je n'ai pas vu le tien...
C'est un PC portable, double carte je suppose :
J'ai ceci :
VGA compatible [0300] : Intel corporation 3rd Gen Core processor graphic controller [8086:0166) (rev 09)
3D controller [0302]: NVIDIA Corporation GK107M [GeForce GT 740M] (revA1)
Je suis parvenu à accéder à un bureau (et à l'installer) en utilisant la version libre, alors que la version avec pilotes propriétaire Nvidia ne dépasse pas le boot.
Le problème maintenant, c'est que ça démarre et que ça tourne pas mal (à première vue), mais le boot est assez malpropre... L'énoncé graphique des erreurs interrompt le slash screen... et l'écran de connexion est bizarre...quel que soit celui que je choisisse et que je n'arrive pas à passer l'option de connexion automatique via le CCM.
C'est pour des amis qui veulent essayer Linux pour une première. J'aimerais leur laisser un truc qui ait l'air un peu propre pour commencer...
Je vais jeter un oeil dans le log de Xorg quand tout le monde sera couché...

Dans le CCM, "configurer le serveur d'affichage", j'ai "Intel 810 and later" - peut-être devrais-je basculer surNvidia Geforce 635serie and later... ?
Mais j'ai peur de perdre mon affichage et de ne pas savoir revenir en arrière... Qu'en pensez-vous ?

Il ne semble pas y avoir d' erreurs dans le xorg.log.
Pour l' affichage, s' il y a des cartes différentes dont une Intel, il est préférable de rester dessus pour le moment. Concernant les pilotes propriétaires, le 390.132 et le 340 supportent la carte, donc en principe cela devrait fonctionner.

Il s'agit donc de la technologie Optimus, avec une carte Intel et une carte Nvidia. Il FAUT rester sur Intel en configuration par défaut. Si tes amis n'ont pas prévu l'utilisation d'application gourmande côté graphique, ce n'est pas la peine de se compliquer plus la vie. Sinon, il faudra utiliser blumblebee pour ces applications.
Tu peux nous fournir la sortie de (en root) :

Il est étonnant que tu aies des erreurs avec le pilote nouveau si tu utilises le pilote Intel. En tout état de cause, tu ne peux pas corriger son fonctionnement.Seule option, faire en sorte qu'il n'y soit pas fait appel. Peut être en désinstallant tout ce qui concerne nouveau.

Physiquement la carte Nvidia est présente, donc il faut bien quelle soit gérée même si non utilisée ?
Si le module est blacklisté, il n' a plus de raison d' être chargé (donc plus de message le concernant).
En revanche je ne sais pas s' il est possible de blacklister un module directement depuis grub. Et si le module est blacklisté depuis le fichier /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf (ou quelque chose comme ça), cela veut dire plus de carte Nvidia du tout.
