Mais... Je n'avais pas demandé de taper la commande en tant que root.
Du coup, si le fichier est à Root, il se peut que mouspad ne peut rien lire car l'utilisateur normal ne peut pas lire les fichier à root.
Donc en tant qu'utilisateur normal, peux-tu refaire les commandes ?

lister les binaires exécutable du paquet pour les lancer en commande et lire les erreurs afin de déboguer et lancer l'interface graphique dont tu nous parles.

En revanche, si rpm -ql laptop-mode-tools ne retourne rien, c' est peut être que le paquet n' est pas installé puisque on redirige uniquement la sortie standard et pas les messages d' erreur 1> , or si le paquet n' est pas installé, forçément il y a message d'erreur mais qui n' est pas redirigé, d'où le fichier vide!
Que donne un rpm -qa | grep laptop-mode-tools (si le paquet se nomme comme ceci).
Est ce qu'il n' y aurait pas 2 paquets ? Un pour le "core" et un pour la partie graphique ?
On pourrais s' assurer que le LMT.py existe en faisant un locate LMT.py (voir un locate lmt.py)

Peut être parce que l' icône lance le lmt-config-gui qui lance le script python 3 lmt.py qui n' existe pas (voir mon message de 13h30 (il ne faut pas oublier que la casse des fichiers est importante)) ?

Pourquoi tu parles d'attendre pour python3 ? Ça fait déjà 10 ans que ça existe, et surement presque autant que c'est sous mageia.

Regardes, quand on tape "python" dans un terminal,
le système regarde dans la variable PATH les chemins où chercher les exécutables.
Parmis ses chemins, un des deux plus importants (en nombre de programme) est /usr/bin.
Là dedans, il y a le fameux "python" qu'on vient de taper dans le terminal.
Celui ci n'est en fait qu'un lien vers un fichier "python2", donc il exécutera python2. Mais python2 n'est qu'un lien, lui aussi, vers le fichier (cette fois ci le bon, l'exécutable) python2.7 .
Et comme tu peux le voir, il y a python3 aussi !
En janvier, le fichier "python" au lieu de rediriger vers python2 puis python2.7 redirigera par défaut vers python3.
Je pense que python2 sera encore disponible quelques temps, même s'il n'est plus maintenu...
