je suis passé à Mageia4 il y a quelques jours et depuis, il m'es impossible de me connecter en Wifi à quelque réseau que ce soit, quelque soit le système de sécurité.
Les réseaux wifi disponibles sont bien detectés mais la tentative de connection déclanche une erreur systématiquement. Je n'ai pas réussi à trouver sur internet d'outils qui me permettraient de diagnostiquer le dysfonctionnement de connection.
Si quelqu'un pouvait m'orienter dans mes recherches ?

Tu peux essayer de créer ce fichier (en root) : /etc/modprobe.d/iwlwifi.conf
Et y placer ceci dedans : options iwlwifi 11n_disable=1
Redémarrer et tester.

J'avais déjà testé cette technique, sans amélioration. J'ai vérifié :

Honnêtement, je n'ai aucun idée de ce que cele signifie.
Sachant qu'à l'instant, je viens de réussir une connection wifi chez moi, après avoir redémarré l'ordinateur. Après m'être déconnecté pour repasser en CPL, plus rien...

Autre piste. Si la carte est une broadcom, le pilote est la version libre par défaut, mais le pilote proprio est aussi disponible.
Dernière piste. Est-ce que net_applet et NetworkManager serait actifs simultanément ?

Non, même après suppression et redémarrage, l'interface reste nommée eth0...
Et non, net_applet et NetworkManager ne sont pas actifs simultannément.
Je vous avoue ne pas comprendre grand chose
Ca marchait très bien, et puis un jour, ça n'a plus du tout fonctionné...

il était effectivement anormal que les interfaces réseau soient toujours appelées 'eth0' et 'wlan0'.
C'était dû à la présence d'un fichier 70-persistent-net.rules dans la répertoire /etc/udev/rules.d
Après avoir renommé ce fichier 70-persistent-net.rules.tmp, le nouveau schéma de noms a été mis en place.
Cependant, toujours pas moyen de se connecter en wifi...
