URGENT - Pourquoi, dans une location, la wifi ne se connecte pas sous Mageia ? [Réglé]

En location pendant mes vacances, je n'arrive pas à me connecter en wifi sous Mageia, alors que ça fonctionne correctement sous Windows ?
Je précise que la connexion wifi fonctionnait correctement sous les 2 systèmes chez-moi. Il ne devrait donc pas y avoir de problème de "pilote", d'autant que le provider est le même (sfr)

Qui pourrait me dire comment m'en sortir, sachant que je rencontre la même "intolérance" à tout autre box que la mienne et m'interdit de profiter de la liberté du PC portable ?

Dans mes remarques j'ai vu qu'il faut un signal de plus de 30% pour établir la connexion. J'ai même utilisé une antenne amplifiée pour de meilleurs résultats.

Oui mais ici c'est une connexion sécurisée, comme chez-moi, strictement. J'ai donc recréé une nouvelle connexion, rentré les identifiants avec le nouveau code, remis par le propriétaire et lancé. Mais il n'arrive pas à lancer la connexion, alors qu'il sait lire les caractéristiques et l'adresse de la box ! Donc, il y a quelque chose, une "sécurité" je pense, qui interdit au PC de se connecter. Mai quoi. J'ai oublié de dire que j'avais ouvert totalement le parefeu. Ca n'a rien changé. Et avec Windows, j'ai recréé également une nouvelle connexion, rentré les identifiants et hop, j'ai été connecté !

Tu es donc en WPA.
Vois tu la balise ?

Sur cetaine BOX il existe une possibilité de verrouiller les connections par l'adresse MAC.
Si c'est le cas la BOX refuse la connection bien que tous les codes soient bons.
Je ne connais pas la BOX de SFR donc ce n'est qu'une sugestion.

J'ai eu un problème similaire en vacances. Un redémarrage du PC lorsque je me connectais au wifi de l'office du tourisme me permettait de démarrer correctement la connexion Wifi, alors qu'à la main, il n'y avait rien à faire.

Hermitbreiz) la box n'est pas verrouillée, sinon je n'aurais pas l'accès sous Windows
Xuo) les redémarrages n'ont pas eu raison du blocage.
D'autres suggestions ?
Personne d'autre n'a de problème de connexion en changeant de box, de provider ... ?

Vu le iwconfig le Wlan0 est déjà Up
La carte fonctionnait sous la SFRBox à la maison
La carte voit la box mais la relation ne se fait pas.
Quel est le type de protection ?
Avec quoi gères-tu NetworkManager ou Netapplet ?
Peux tu nous mettre le fichier etc/sysconfig/Networkscript/ifcfg-Wlan0 (je balance cela de mémoire )

Vu l'impossibilité d'accéder au net, je suis sous win, et donc dois repasser sous Mageia pour obtenir les renseignements, puis rebooter sous win et attendre, attendre qu'il se re re re re configure pour la n² ème fois.

Yopman, tu confirme ce que je pensais.
Ainsi que je l'ai dis, j'ai enlevé le parefeu et je n'ai aucune protection particulière.
De ce que j'en sais, je n'utilises pas Network Manager, quant à Netapplet, je ne connais pas. Quand je configure une nouvelle connexion, à la dernière (?) fenêtre, je ne coche que "autoriser les utilisateurs à gérer la connexion", "statistiques" et c'est tout.

Non ma question était sur le type de clé de protection wifi que demande la box ;

Le propriétaire indique qu'il s'agit d'une clé WEP. Mais Windows a entré d'office une clé WPA / WPA2 et ça a fonctionné de suite.
Sous Magéia, comme il y a plus de choix, j'ai tout essayé WEP ouvert, WEP restreint, WPA/WPA2 Entreprise, personnel ... Rien n'y a fait. Comme par ailleurs la clé est de même type que la mienne, je pense qu'il s'agit plutôt d'une WPA.
Mais si le PC reconnaît bien la Box, quelle protection peut l'empêcher de se connecter ?
Ilne me reste que jusqu'à demain matin pour y arriver, car après je vais devoir passer en libre ou en FON et alors là, je ne risque pas de trouver la solution (de plus si Windows n'arrive pas non plus à se connecter).
Que puis je tenter d'autre ?

Puisque nous n'avons pas le temps, tentons
:* regardes dans etc/sysconfig/network-script/ifcfg-wlan0 si la casse de la clé de sécurité est bien respectée
puis,en console:
* rm -f /var/lib/dhclient/dhclient-wlan0.lease
Puis reconfigurer la connexion wifi via le CCM
