Pour sfr il n'y a rien à dire. Ça va tout seul. Pour les free on a souvent un blocage.... Je ne sais pas pourquoi, mais l'accès est empêché systématiquement et la balise ne s'affiche pas. Au mieux on a une recherche très longue qui finit par un refus de se connecter. Faut-il faire du SSH pour que ça marche ? Je ne crois pas. Car pour ça, il nous faut au moins la balise. ..
De même si par exemple on est sur sfr et que la balise ferme. ( Eh oui, ça arrive. ) Pas moyen de se reconnecter sur du free. Il faut tout fermer pour changer de style de balise. Tout ceci pour dire que l'accrochage de balise sous linux, c'est pas gagné.

j'utilise sfr, n'ayant pas de compte free et je n'ai pas de problème pour me connecter au wifi ! j'utilise wicd pour le wifi.
Tu utilise quoi pour te connecter ? la gestion par le logiciel de mageia ou networkmanager ? est ce que tu as essayé de changer l'un par l'autre pour voir ?
As tu essayé aussi en console pour voir si le problème persiste ?

J'utilise les outils classiques de la distrib. Je suis actuellement sur un SFR wifi public.
La balise arrive à accrocher et l'icône se place en bas de l'ecran. Par contre si j'ouvre firefox derrière, car il faut veiller à ce qu'"il soit bien fermé avant, j'ai un ecran blanc en voulant par exemple google, et je finis dans un time out. C'est curieux. Je me suis dis que je n'avais pas de chance avec mes balises et qu'elles étaient toutes pourries. En fait non, il suffit de prendre windows pour que ça aille tout bien. Le networkmanager semble fonctionner puisque la balise est là mais elle est simplement impropre à l'utilisation.
Ya t-il une différence notable avec wicd ? et si ce dernier fonctionne mieux pourquoi n'est il pas utilisé paar le networkmanager ?

networkmanager et le truc de mageia sont des gestionnaire de wifi au même titre que wicd, le seul soucis est que networkmanager fonctionne très mal chez moi, donc j'utilise wicd qui lui ne me pose aucun soucis et fonctionne tout de suite !
Arrive tu à à faire un ping du serveur quand tu te connecte sur free ?
peut être un problème de dns ? ou de mauvaise configuration des fichiers conf de connexion ?
Que renvoi les fichier d'erreurs ? /var/log

- 12H33 j'ai démarré le networkmanager depuis l'icône en bas de mon écran.
- 12H36 J'étais dans le MCC pour tenter un démarrage d'une connexion freewifi.
- 12H37 je tentais un démarrage d'une connexion SFR wifi public. Le résultat s'est soldé par un message d'échec, mais l'icône attestant la connection est apparue. Un petit test m'a montré que je disposais de 125 K/sec. C'est pas mal. Je peux donc réaliser mon rapport. Je ne dispose que peux de temps, donc je ne m'attarde pas sur l'examen du rapport. Je reprends plus tard. Merci.
