sur mon pavilion g7 impossible d'activer la wiffi ,l'ethernet fonctionne sans problème ma carte est reconnue j'ai suivi le tuto et pourtant rien ni fait. SUr 7 J'ai le voyant de le touche wiffi qui vire au bleu après connection mais pas sur mageia .Voila

qu'elle est ta carte wifi ? lspci ou lsusb nous en dirait plus (vi j'ai la flemme de chercher sur le net pour le pavillion g7)
et un petit lsmod aussi serait pas mal pour voir le module qui gère le wifi !

j'ai parcouru un peu les posts de magria 1 sur le wifi et il y a une réponse qui sort souvent :
il faut installer kernel-firmware-extra. Je veux bien mais il est où ce kernel(j'ai ma base urpmi a jour )

le kernel-firmware-extras se trouve dans Mageia Dépôts Nonfree.
Mais chez moi ça n'a pas marché.

Il y a eu des problèmes sur Mageia 1, dont le kernel ne supportait pas le pilote. Maintenant, il y est, donc le problème est ailleurs.

Il y a un problème de "coller" dans ton rapport, tout est sur la même ligne, c'est difficile à exploiter.

héhé il est bloqué au niveau hardware ton wifi !!!
essaye un (en root) :

et ensuite fait un nouveau rfkill list si Hard blocked est sur no, essaye de te connecter !
