Suppression d'une partition pour faire de la place = long boot de mageia [Réglé]

J'ai donc supprimé la partition mageia2, /opt et swap pour agrandir /home de 50Go, recréer une swap au bout et ma partition /opt.
J'ai modifié le fichier fstab comme il convenait:

Le contenu du /var/log/messages n'est pas très parlant car à mon avis, il commence après le souci, au même moment qu'apparait "Bienvenue dans Mageia 1"

As tu vérifié que ce sont bien les UUID actuels ? Il me semble que celui de /dev/sda6, que tu n'as pas reformaté, ne devrait pas avoir changé, mais je n'en suis pas sûr...

Oui, le UUID est le même. Et puis la partition est quand même montée au boot.

Une façon simple de recréer l'initrd est de démarrer sur un ancien noyau (éventuellement installé pour la circonstance), puis réinstaller le noyau habituel après l'avoir supprimé.
Mais, pas plus que PalMaS, je n'affirmerai que cela résoudra ton problème puisque tu ne dis pas avoir changé de matériel...

Je me suis renseigné sur l'IRC de #mageia-fr et je pense avoir trouvé la solution, j'ai modifié le menu.lst (de GRUB) en indiquant le nouvel UUID de la partition SWAP.
Je verrai ce que ça donne au prochain reboot ...
je n'ai en effet pas pensé au GRUB. n'ayant pas modifié la partition racine, j'ai pas assimilé

Ce qui t'arrive est tout à fait normal car tu as formaté ta swap.
De ce fait son UUID a changé.
Modifier cette UUID dans les fichirs menu.lst et fstab ne suffit pas.
En effet, le fichier initrd.img, qui contient "en mémoire" les UUID, n'est plus valable.
Il faut le recréer.
Je me suis fait une petite procédure, améliorable bien sûr mais qui fonctionne très bien, pour recréer ce fichier initrd.img.
D'abord s'assurer que le paquet mkinitrd est bien installé.
En console et en root taper blkid
Remplacer les UUID dans les ficheirs menu.lst et fstab par celles fournies par blkid
Obtenir la version du kernel par la commande uname -r
taper la commande
/sbin/mkinitrd(espace)/boot/initrd.img-2(espace)<version du kernel donnée par la commande uname -r>
Renommer initrd.img en initrd.img_old
Renommer initrd.img-2 en initrd.img
Rebooter
Normalement tu ne devrais plus avoir de temps d'attente au boot.
Supprimer initrd.img_old.
Voilà.
