Mon nouvel ordinateur ASUS Vivobook15 voit bien dans son "BIOS/UEFI" ma livebox dans son "BIOS", mais ne réussit pas à installer le wifi. La carte Realtek Device b851 est bien identifiée, mais pas son pilote.
J'ai alors installé Ubuntu (une première pour moi, après mes 19 années avec Mageia et prédécesseurs). Ubuntu a bien installé le wifi, et le pilote est rtw89_8851be. Mais je n'ai pas l'intention de rester sur Ubuntu.
Qui peut m'aider?

Certains pilotes ont besoin d' un firmware (pas nécessairement installé de base sous Mageia.

Le paquet rtlwifi-firmware est installé ?

Une autre chose qui doit être vérifiée également, edt ce net_applet ou NetworkManager qui est utilisé ?

J'ai les 2 premières lignes intéressantes pour $ lspcidrake -v

et par ailleurs, aussi dans $ lspcidrake -v, la ligne suivante a disparu depuis que j'ai viré Ubuntu

En effet, le module rtw89_8851be ne semble pas présent avec le noyau 6.4.9. Par contre il semble l'être à partir du noyau 6.5.11. Il faudrait donc commencer par mettre à jour le noyau et redémarrer, en s'assurant que c'est bien le nouveau noyau qui est choisi (6.6.105 normalement).

Noyau mis à jour 6.6.105 avec connexion via mon smartphone (étonnante manipulation!). La carte et son module sont reconnus:
