Je veux charger un fichier, le sauvegarder, charger une photo sur Facebook (le cas ici) et j'attend un retour et j'attend.
Ca se produit depuis quelques jours (avant-dernière MAJ - mais je ne sais pas si ca a un rapport). Quelqu'un pourrait me dire ce qui se passe à la lecture de ceci :

Cette action de charger un fichier se fait depuis Firefox ?
Est ce la fenêtre qui permet de choisir où enregistrer le fichier (ou choisir l' emplacement d' où choisir le fichier ?
Pendant cette attente le disque dur travaille t' il ?

hosts: files mdns4_minimal nis dns mdns4 myhostname
files est en premier. Ça correspond à la recherche des noms d'hôtes dans le fichier /etc/hosts. Il doit être prioritaire et est très rapide. Il faudrait donc modifier /etc/nsswitch.conf
De mémoire, mdns4_minimal correspond à la recherche des noms d'hôtes par avahi.

Mon ordi rencontre à nouveau des problèmes de lenteurs et je reviens ici pour voir comment l'affaire avait été résolue l'an dernier. Je trouve ce dernier message de didicosse qui m'avait échappé et auquel je n'ai donc pas répondu. J'espère qu'il m'en excusera, et vous également.

Donc bonne nouvelle, mon PC a recouvré sa vitesse normale - même améliorée peut-être.
Il ne me reste donc qu'à essayer de comprendre le travail de ce que didicosse m'a fait exécuter (je précise ici que didicosse ne m'a en rien obligé, intimé, forcé... à faire

le programme en C, sa compilation, son exécution, puis les instructions "gcc -o getHostByName getHostaddr.c" et enfin, celle que j'avais oublié "./getHostByName localhost" (pour ceux qui n'ont pas tout suivi ou que j'ai perdu en route par mes digressions
