Or j'ai les pires difficultés, une fois Windows 10 entièrement supprimé du disque dur, ce dernier complètement formaté.
En installant diverses distributions, j'ai eu les pires difficultés, jamais les mêmes :
- soit le disque dur lui-même n'est pas détecté, rendant toute installation impossible
- soit le système wifi ne fonctionne pas, donc impossible de mettre à jour et d'installer les applications dont j'ai besoin
J'ai essayé PCLinuxOS, Fedora, OpenMandriva et bien sûr Mageia. C'est ce dernier qui a donné les meilleurs résultats, sauf un problème : la touche Ctrl ne semble pas fonctionner.
Je m'en suis aperçu en installant LyX que j'utilise depuis une vingtaine d'années (depuis le temps de KLyX, sous Mandrake !), pour enseigner (je suis professeur de mathématiques retraité et bénévole). En effet, j'ai l'habitude d'écrire de longues suites de calcul en mode "équation". Pour cela, pour passer à la ligne, on utilise la combinaison de touches Ctrl+<à la ligne>.
Chez moi, rien à faire, cela ne marche pas.

Bon, c'est clair, cher Ami age. Comment arriver à me servir de cet engin et surtout avec Mageia, plutôt que céder à l'ennemi planétaire n° 1, Microsoft ?

est-ce que la touche CTRL ne fonctionne pas du tout , ou bien uniquement dans LyX ?
Si tu essaies un copié collé ailleurs (CRTL-C, CTRL-V) , ça donne quoi ?

Si tu ouvres Configuration du système KDE>Matériel>Périphériques d'entrée>Clavier, as-tu essayé de changer le modèle du clavier, par exemple ?

Effectivement, est ce que l' on est sur du nombre de touche sur le clavier.
Peut être que l' utilisation de xev permettrait de savoir si les touches envoient un code qui ne serait pas interprété ?

Dans writer ou autre, tapez un truc, puis le valider ;
ctrl+c le copie ctrl+v le colle
ou xev ( ligne de commande ) qui te donne le keycode

Oui, heureusement, Ctrl+V fonctionne (je ne m'en sers pas d'habitude).
C'est peut-être avec LyX que cela ne fonctionne pas, mais c'est bien la 1ère fois en plus de 20 ans et je ne sais combien d'installations de Linux : Mandrake, Mandriva, SuSE, Mageia, PCLinuxOS, et j'en passe. Cela me ralentit considérablement, car j'écris énormément de cours et aide pas mal d'élèves et même une école.
A propos de clavier, Mageia propose, en plus du clavier français standard, le latin 9, mais je n'ai pas osé le choisir.
Mon clavier compte 95 touches.
C'est malheureux que nos dirigeants politiques, notre "élite", qui ne sont que des profiteurs méprisant le peuple et notre malheureuse France, se soient arrangés pour vendre tous nos biens, notre technologie (par exemple Latécoère, etc.) au capitalisme étranger.
J'ai été berné par la pub de Thomson, avec Teddy Riner qui dit "je choisis la technologie française".
J'ai également une voiture Dacia parce que j'ai voulu acheter français. Il se pourrait bien que j'aie été berné là aussi. On aurait bien besoin d'un deuxième De Gaulle, en ces sombres jours...
Vive Linux, et aussi vive la France, qui a beaucoup donné au monde, et qui souffre pas mal ces temps-ci ! Vivement que ça change.
Et à bas Microsoft et l'ultra-libéralisme qui veut dégrader l'homme en esclave de l'argent.

Dacia c'est une entreprise roumaine qui a été rachetée par Renault en 1999 afin de pouvoir fabriquer des voitures à pas cher pour les pays de l'est de l'Europe et les pays émergeant. Ça n'a jamais été français.

Vivement le prochain équivalent à l'appel du 18 juin.
Mais avez-vous entendu sur Sud Radio, le jingle "Les Français parlent aux Français", qui reproduit fidèlement celui de Radio Londres des années 1940... ? C'est un signe des temps, une lueur peut-être de la prise de conscience de nos infortunés compatriotes (qui ont aussi une grande part de faute, on n'a que les dirigeants qu'on mérite. D'ailleurs n'a-t-on pas voté pour eux ? De Pompidou à Macron, avec tous leurs intermédiaires !)

Dans le xev, est ce que quelques touches ont été appuyées (notamment la touche ctrl) ?
Après si ctrl fonctionne en dehors de Lyx, c' est probablement un réglage à faire dans cette application.
