J'ai beau essayer, suivre ici ou /et là, ça ne va jamais.
J'aimerais donc un coup de main pour m'éclairer.
J'ai : 1PC en ethernet MGA3 64b - 1Portable en wifi MGA3 64b - 1 NeufBox : Réseau WAN en routeur
J'ai chargé Samba, validé ce qui était demandé. J'ai désactivé le parefeu vu que ça ne marchait jamais ( et même ma souris 'logitech' y serait bloquée ! ).

Depuis que je tente d'y arriver, j'ai un certain nombre de "réseaux" qui s'affichent dans Dolphin. J'ai ainsi 5 services réseau qui sont :
A) Nous
B) Services Réseaux
C) owncloud
D) Réseau
E) Partages Samba
avec
A) Réseau : "Nous"
pointe sur "smb :192.168.1.1" affiche : " Pas de réponse du serveur 192.168.1.1 "
B) Réseau : "Service réseaux"
pointe sur : "zeroconf:/" indique : " Disque distant (fish) " avec
1) linux [ zeroconf:/_ssh._tcp/linux/] --> vide et
2) linux-2 [zeroconf:/_ssh._tcp/linux-2/] --> vide également
C) Réseau : "owncloud"
pointe sur : "webdav://dan@localhost:80/owncloud/files/" affiche : "Impossible de se connecter à l'hôte localhost: Connexion refusée."
D) Réseau : "Réseau"
pointe sur : " network:/ " et affiche comme "Services Réseaux", "linux" et "linux-2".
* "linux" (icone écran distant) pointe sur : "network:/linux.local/" et comprend :
1) (icone répertoire) "TOSH1" SMB server taille 0 [c'est mon PC ss wifi] pointe sur smb : linux.local, renvoie : "Impossible de se connecter à l'hôte « smb://linux.local:445/ »",
2) (icone mappemonde) "linux [4c:ed:de:5a:b4:b7]" Worgroup Manager ", pointe sur : "network:/linux.local/linux [4c:ed:de:5a:b4:b7].workstation" --> n'aboutit à rien
3) (icone disque dur) "linux" pointe sur network:/linux.local/linux.udisks-ssh --> n'aboutit à rien
4) (icone fichier) "linux" SSH Server qui ouvre une Konsole
5) (icone imprimante) "HP-970C_Brouillon @ localhost.localdomain.ipp" Internet printing, pointe vers network:/linux.local/HP-970C_Brouillon @ localhost.localdomain.ipp --> n'aboutit à rien
- "linux-2" (icone écran distant) pointe sur : "network:/linux-2.local/" et comprend les mêmes indications mais avec "ANTEC" SMB server taille 0 ( c'est mon PC "serveur") pointe sur smb : linux.local, renvoie : "Impossible de se connecter à l'hôte « smb://linux.local:445/ »"
E) Réseau : "Partages Samba"
pointe sur "smb:/" et affiche "Aucun groupe de travail n'a été trouvé dans votre réseau local. Ceci peut être dû à la présence d'un pare-feu activé." alors que le pare-feu est totalement désactivé !
Par ailleurs, le PC en Wifi, configuré de même renvoie dans service smb status l'impossibilité de se connecter à l'imprimante.
Dans Dolphin, sous "Partages Samba" j'ai : "TOSH1" qui se reconnaît et accède à ses propres dossiers, et "ANTEC", qui lui par contre n'aboutit pas avec "pas de réponse du serveur ANTEC".

Je suppose que c'est ton PC Antec qui héberge le serveur samba ? Quel est sont adresse IP
Peux tu nous préciser l'adresse IP de ton portable ? Fait il serveur samba ?
Attention 192.168.1.1 c'est l'adresse de ta neufbox, c'est donc normal que smb ne donne rien !! D'ailleurs, dans ton premier smb.conf, tu avais écris "Hosts Allow = 192.168.1.1", ce qui signifie que seul ton routeur pouvait communiquer avec ton serveur samba. Ca n'a pas beaucoup d'intérêt.

A remplacer par

Remplace "workgroup=MGAGROUP" par "workgroup=WORKGROUP"
Redémarre samba, et commence par valider le que le service samba du PC antec est bien visible du pc antec et du portable avant d'attaquer la config samba du portable

On constate que WORGROUP n'est pas repris en workgroup, et qu'il conserve "MGAGROUP" !
D'où cela vient-il puisque cette ligne est bien modifiée. Par ailleurs, par le MCC je suis allé reconfiguré Samba en rentrant WORKGROUP et quand je revérifie, j'ai toujours ce MGAGROUP qui traîne.
Une autre me turlupine.
En créant les utilisateurs, il a fallu leur donner un mot de passe.
A quel moment le service va-t-il le réclamer, car quand je clique dans Dolphin sur "Réseaux", il ne demande rien.

J'ai arrêté le service smb et l'ai relancé "a mano" et WRKGROUP est désormais bien repris.
Désormais, je lance "Partages Samba" et aboutis à "WORKGROUP", mais : "Pas de réponse du serveur workgroup"

Il faut donner un mot de passe ... c'est normal, Windows XP ne supporte pas les utilisateurs avec un mot de passe vide par exemple.
SAMBA étant rétrocompatible avec les anciennes versions de l'OS de Redmond, il faut donc ajouter les comptes utilisateurs de ta Mageia puis ajouter les comptes SAMBA.
Tous les utilisateurs Mageia n'auront pas fatalement accès à des ressources sur un réseau Microsoft.
Pour le groupe de travail, il faut que l'ensemble de tes machines soient dans le même groupe sinon cela devient l'anarchie et il faut redémarrer les machines sous Windows et relancer le service SAMBA.
L'explorateur de service réseau peut-être un peu lent, il ne faut pas hésiter à faire plusieurs des requêtes de découverte de partage dans la Mageia et dans les Windows.
Il serait aussi plus simple que tu définisses des partages moins génériques comme je le vois dans ton fichier de configuration :

C'est le répertoire auquel je souhaite donner accès.
Devrais-je avoir Part_Photos, qui donne accès à /home/Photos ? (je doutais de mes MAJ, de ce fait j'ai renommé certains paramètres dans "smb.conf", comme repris dans les copies ci-dessus).
Par ailleurs, lorsque je clique dans Dolphin sur Réseau, Partages Samba, j'obtiens : "Impossible de se connecter à l'hôte « smb://workgroup/ »" et non plus :"Pas de réponse du serveur workgroup" ! ???
