l'interface graphique ne démarre plus [Réglé]

j'ai installé récemment mageia 3 en dual boot sur le notebook d'une amie.
Jusqu'ici, tout allait bien et elle était très contente de voir les performances de son ordinateur s'améliorer mais voilà que depuis quelques jours mageia ne veut plus démarrer X et présente un écran noir au démarrage. Je réussis bien à accéder à une console en tapant CTRL+ALT+F2 mais quand je tente de lancer X, écran noir de nouveau.
Le pc en question est le suivant :
Samsung NP-N150
Rien n'a été changé, sauf évidemment le système d'exploitation qui est en dual boot désormais mageia (64 bits)/7 (qui fonctionne toujours).
Quelqu'un aurait une idée ?

Essayes de lancer sur la console la commande suivante :
XFdrake --auto
Ca pourrait remettre les choses d'équerre. Ca recherche le pilote graphique par défaut et télécharge les éventuels paquets manquants si tu as une connexion réseau.
Tu peux toujours essayer de reconfigurer l'affichage manuellement directement en lançant dans la console XFdrake.
Il serait intéressant de regarder les messages présents sous /var/log/, notamment les fichiers dmesg.log ou syslog et Xorg.0.log. Tu peux éventuellement nous faire suivre les messages d'erreur rencontrés pour l'analyse.

J'ai également le rapport de X si ça intéresse (même système de redirection. En fait avec une redirection normale, le système ne copiait rien)

J'ai l'impression que ton problème vient de ton clavier ou de ta souris. Tu peux vérifier si le fichier retournée par l'erreur XFdrake existe bien : synaptics_drv.so
Sinon, le problème c'est que je ne vois pas d'erreur dans le fichier Xorg.0.log
As tu essayés de lancer X manuellement depuis une console en te connectant avec l'utilisateur habituel. Il faut exécuter la commande startx. Ca pourrait peut être donner plus d'informations.

Le fichier synaptycs_drv.so existe, le chemin est /usr/lib64/xorg/modules/input/synaptics_drv.so
Quand je le lis avec less (il est plus dissert avec cat mais c'est illisible), il me renvoie la description du fichier :

Je me demande si la très faible mémoire de l'ordinateur n'explique pas ce problème. Cela vous paraît-il possible ? (les caractéristiques techniques de l'ordinateur sont signalées dans le lien que j'ai mis dans mon premier message). A moins que ce ne soit KDE qui pose problème ?

Non, ta machine est assez puissante. j'ai déjà installé mageia kde sur mon netbook Samsung. Ca fonctionne correctement même avec 1Go de mémoire et un processeur ATOM.
Quand tu parle d'écran noir, ça signifie que tu n'as même pas le prompt , c'est à dire l'affichage de la ligne de commande shell ? La question que je me pose, c'est peut être que X démarre finalement mais avec un soucis.

C'est inquiétant vu l'évolution de ce bug... qui n'a pas de réponse..
Puisque le problème est récent, pourrais tu essayer de démarrer sur l'ancien noyau pour voir si le problème se produit également.
Après, tu peux toujours exécuter la commande XFdrake et tenter de mettre le driver vesa à la place du driver intel pour voir si cela fonctionne, voir retenter de fixer un pilote intel
Pour redémarrer X, il faut exécuter la commande "service dm restart"
Voilà, je vois plus trop ce que l'on peu tenter de plus....A part mettre à jour le rapport de bug.

Par écran noir, j'entends en effet qu'il n'y a plus rien, plus de prompt, rien, le néant, le vide total, bref je me laisse aller.
J'ai tenté avec l'ancien noyau : même résultat
J'ai tenté de redémarrer X avec la commande (en root) : on voit apparaître la souris avec le signe d'attente puis disparition. Ce qui m'a fait remarquer une chose : il le fait également lorsque je démarre. Cela signifierait que X démarre puis s'éteint ?
Ce que renvoie la commande # service dm restart :

J'ai tenté avec Vesa : il m'affiche :

Ce qui est étonnant, c'est que ça fonctionnait quand je l'ai installé. Pourquoi me fait-il des misères maintenant ?

Pas de soucis, ce fut un plaisir malgré un résultat pas au rendez vous. Effectivement une installation neuve permettra certainement de résoudre le problème. J'espère que ce ne n'est pas une mise à jour qui a cassé ce satané X.

Juste pour dire qu'avant de refaire l'installation et tout j'ai pris le temps de mettre à jour le pc en question et que... X démarre désormais.
A mon avis, ça a dû être un problème lors d'une mise à jour qui a été réglé par les développeurs, je ne vois que ça.
Je marque donc le sujet en résolu.
