Scanner non reconnu : Xerox WC 3119 all-in-one

j'étais précédemment sous Mandriva 10.1 (puis 10.2) et j'arrivais à utiliser le scanner de mon imprimante Xerox WC 3119.
Depuis que je suis passé à Mageia 1, c'est le drame : aucun scanner trouvé (!?!)
J'ai tenté d'installer les drivers proposés par Xerox, mais les scripts d'installation ne connaissent pas Mageia.
Après décorticage des scripts, j'ai lancé manuellement les mêmes commandes que pour une Mandriva (je ne me rappelle pas avoir installé quoi que ce soit sous Mandriva).
Dans tous les cas, ça ne fonctionne toujours pas.
J'ai conservé un dual-boot Mandriva-Mageia ; alors, je peux comparer (si ça peut vous aider...).

Je suppose que tu parles bien de Mandriva 2010.2 ?
Dans ce cas, regarde si tu as bien installé xsane et si c'est le même numéro de version installée entre les deux distros.

Il s'agit effectivement d'une Mandriva 2010.2.
Concernant les versions de xsane, les versions installées sont les suivantes :

Effectivement, le scanner peut être rétif, et d'après ce que j'ai lu ce serait lié au kernel, et comme celui-ci est différent d'avec la Mandriva que tu avais...
Et encore, certains n'ont pas l'imprimante non plus...
Il faudrait peut-être voir où sont passés les modules :
