nVidia : startx échoue avec tous les pilotes. [Réglé]

Mageia1 x86_64, KDE, puce graphique : nVidia GeForce 405
Suite à quelques déboires, je viens de réinstaller Mageia1 dont l'interface graphique ne posait précédemment aucun problème.
J'ai passé tout le week-end à essayer avec les pilotes vesa, nv, nouveau, nvidia : aucun ne fonctionne, pourtant startx ne retourne aucune ligne commençant par EE :

Lors du démarrage juste après grub, appuie sur échappe pour voir si il y aurait pas une erreur au boot ?

Bon, je viens de le re-désinstaller. Parce que je l'avais réinstallé pour l'essayer après avoir constaté que nvidia ne fonctionnait pas.

Après quoi, j'ai réessayé "startx" => même punition.
Par ailleurs, j'ai cherché ce qu'est portserve. Je n'ai pas bien compris, mais il ne me semble pas que cela ai un rapport avec nvidia.
Et mdadm : si j'ai bien compris, c'est pour gérer le raid logiciel, et je n'en ai pas besoin.

Je me demande si le problème n'est pas ailleurs et je pense à kde ou carrément un crashes de X en faite X ne se lance pas !
J'avoue qu'avec le peu d'infos données par le système sur l'erreur, je vois vraiment pas ou est le problème ?

En espérant avoir des messages d'erreurs quelque part !
portserve sert pour réservé certain port pour une application par exemple.

Je me déconnecte de ma session pour vérifier : le menu ne me propose que xfce et drak3D, pas de KDE : apparemment, il ne s'est donc pas installé...
Tu avais donc bien vu : le problème venait de KDE, et pas de nVidia.

Je pense plus à un bug (mauvaise installe de kde) j’essaierai à ta place un :
urpmi task-kde4 ou task-kde je me souviens plus, voir supprimer le dossier .kde4 de ton home (tu le renomme en .kde4old)
ou essaye avec gdm comme entrée plutôt de kdm! (passe par le ccm pour tous configurer)

le dkms sert pour la mise à jour de noyau non ? si mise à jour du kernel alors les drivers seront automatiquement re compilés grace au dkms avec les nouvelles sources du noyau, il me semble ?
De plus xfce ne se lancerait pas puisque xorg chercherait un module qui n'existerait pas !

Je plussoie ce que dit PaLmAs ,chez moi tout fonctionne a merveille depuis bel lurette et même après un
update de kernel (et pourtant j'en ai fait des updates......) aucun soucis pas besoin de réinstaller le pilote
