En trainant sur le forum depuis pas mal de temps, j'ai constaté que sur presque n'importe quelle distribution, le souci du codec pour lire rapidos les mp3 & autres divx sont légions.

D'où cette idée :
MLO pourrait-il faire un "pack de codec" incluant l'ensemble des codecs audio/vidéo permettant de lire du mp3, wmv, avi, mpeg etc.... facilement sur Mageia. Je sais qu'il y a pour certain pays un souci de légalité, lire à nous de mettre ce paquet à disposition des inscrits avec un message d'avertissement.

Ensuite reste à savoir si on fourni uniquement une liste type, avec le minimum vital, ou si l'on connaît/dispose d'un packageur pouvant nous faire ça, sans forcément le maintenir à jour à chaque update d'un des softs, Mageia s'en chargerai...

Salut,

Il serait plus judicieux à mon avis de poster un message indiquant comment procéder pour en faire l'installation et faire la liste des paquets à installer via urpmi. Un peu comme l'avait fait à l'époque, merde, je ne me souviens plus de son pseudo. Celui qui a fait le liveCD.... Quelqu'un se souvient ? :siffle:

bah moi je vais te contarié mon petit Daax, seb95 dit le chieur est de retour!!! :mdr2:
sous ubuntu, il y a un paquet nommé "ubuntu restricted" qui installe tout ce qui est sale, codecs(mp3, dvix...), mais aussi flash, adobe, les fonts de microsoft et j'en passe...
sous frugalware pareils suffit d'installer le groupe de paquets multimedia et xmultimedia...
deja ça facilite la vie, je coche un paquets qui installe plus d'une 40 de paquets(ça m'evite de les taper ou de les cocher a la mains...), donc du temps, donc de la facilité!!!

Il y a un truc dans ce genre qui existe sur openSUSE aussi. Il faudrait alors créer un paquet qui contient ces codecs. D'abord et avant tout, il faudrait d'une part faire la liste des codecs nécessaire. :)

En un clic tu ajoutes les dépôts, une liste propose le nom des paquets sans barbarismes pour les néophytes (comme pour les autres) :cote: à cocher pour les installer et fait le boulot tout en automatique :intello:

Je vous dirai ce que ça prend comme codecs poiur être optimal. Je vous dirais qu'openSUSE a fait un sacré bon boulot à ce niveau. :)

Mais il n'y as pas de pack de codec sous linux, c'est du language windaube ça, les seul codec qu'il peut y avoir sont ceux windows justement ds pack "win32" et "realcodec" qui servent a des player comme mplayer, xine etc paquet plf sous mandriva en violation des licenses

pour la lecteur des mp3, wmv, mov etc tout depend comment a été compilés le player

si par exemple le mplayer de mageia a été compilé pour lire wmv, mov etc bah t'as juste a faire urpmi mplayer et hop mplayer et tout les librairies dependantes sera installé automatiquement et enjoy pr voir ta video en wmv

par contre si il ne prend pas en charge tel ou tel format, libre a toi de le compiler pour ca tout en sachant que tu viol les licenses, les formats propriétaire

Un "pack Codec" est un terme un peu galvaudé pour dire par exemple que tu vas installer :

oui pour moi le pack codec c'est plus ce que Xk a donné, un ensemble de logicielles et de codec qui facilite la vie.

Bonjour à tous,

Un pack Codecs, cela simplifiera bien la vie a ceux qui comme moi ne mettent pas trop les mains dans le cambouis !

Ou alors, si vous pouviez donner dans un tutoriel par exemple, une liste de packages a installer manuellement pour avoir un pc qui tourne bien (adobe reader, flash player, ..etc).

Une deuxième question, comment savoir si un paquet concernant un logiciel sera installé sur Mageia ? A qui doit-on demander, car j'aimerais bien savoir si Realcrypt ou truecrypt seront accessibles dans les dépôts Mageia ?

Merci d'avance pour le travail que vous faites, cela améliore grandement notre surf !

Intéressant tout ça car ces histoires de format vidéo/audio semble bien compliquées.

Pour ma part, j'ai enregistré un clip vidéo de format .flv.

Si j'essaie de l'ouvrir avec VLC, j'ai ce message:
